I sort of stumbled upon this company a few years ago by accident. I remember just walking through a guitar shop and seeing these cables and they looked very plain and yet very sturdy and were quite affordable. Before discovering the silver bullet cables, I've been using planet waves cables. Most of which have crapped out on me or were defective etc. So I decided to try something new and these looked interesting, the outer layer is very slick and shiny, but also very tough, it's almost difficult to step on to them cause if you do you'll slip!!! This has happened to me a few times. I'm not sure if that's really any better than crushing a regular cable or not.. but it does protect the cable. The ends are really secure as well. The big issue with most cables for me of course is the tangling, in which case this silver bullet still ends up doing. Tangles up quite a bit, seems like it's inevitable with cables of all types, doesn't matter what material you use or whatnot.

They sound great of course! To me, every guitar cable brand has a slightly different sound. Whether it's good or not is subjective, but most of the time it's good. But the good tone is definitely there. I didn’t own other cables at the same time so I didn’t do any a/b comparisons but I do remember these sounding quite good overall. For reviewing cables I’m basically reviewing the longevity of them and their sturdiness as opposed to how good they sound since every cable company makes their cables sound different.

Overall it's a decent cable, one notch above a planet waves cable but not the best I've tried in terms of flexibility and the tangling up has always been the biggest beef for players. I’ve since moved on to other cables from the same company, of which I have also reviewed, the more recently popular coil cables.
