«  Perfect boost! »

Published on 12/07/12 at 00:51
Analog overdrive pedal three classic settings (Tone, Gain, Volume).
9v supply. The pedal is very solid and compact.

UTILIZATION

I only give my opinion on the use of a boost channel saturated.
Sound setting is very simple.
Putting the volume up and the gain to 0 gives a slight boost in volume and gain perfect for solos. Harmonics stand out. You have to play the tone to find the desired sound.

SOUND QUALITY

More Tone knob is turned to the right over the sound is sharp and loses bass. I think the ideal setting is between 12 and 15h for a much more powerful on solos.
I use a Blackstar HT5R and a Gibson Les Paul with Alnico 2 pro microphone.

A video of a cover which I use for ZW44 two solos.

The only complaint we can make is that it brings a breath sizable boost mode as long as the amplifier gain is high enough. But hey it does not intend for us to play so .. Gating can solve this problem.

OVERALL OPINION

It has now been one month that I use and I am always satisfied. I use it even rhythmic "spice up" a little my sound.
I used a pedal before HT Dual to blackstar lamps in the way clean. I think the use of the saturation of the amplifier and ZW44 in boost is more interesting (this is subjective).
I think the value for money really correct. (Solid, sounds good, price not excessive)
