Peavey announces at NAMM 2015 the addition of a new amp matching technology to its ReValver modeling software.
The ReValver ACT Profiler follows the trend initiated by Kemper, Positive Grid and Two Notes for the cabs. It captures the sound of any hardware amp and saves it as a software preset.
Thanks to this new ACT (Audio Cloning Technology), Peavey expands the tone capacity for their ReValver software. The system analyzes the characteristics of the amp, cabinet and mic and then applies this new “profile” to the ReValver modeling engine. Presets can then be shared with the community.
