UTILIZATION
For the config ', just quickly read the manual if you're not used to this kind of gear, otherwise it will own. The manual can help but even without it it comes out easily.
on the other hand, an average brightness from seeing properly and it's pretty annoying knobs when you want to settle his thing in a dark place. A white dot instead of black would have been better already.
SOUNDS
I think this little box is mainly used to improve its sound before attacking a big amp .. for a live sound is a bit short because of the EQ a bit tight, but it can help in case of failure amp. on the other hand for recording is to be avoided: breath, his touch is difficult in the future.
I use it with low entry-level LTD at (ESP) on a Fender Rumble 100w. The bass is not too bad for what it is and the amp is nice, the preamp can switch to the correct sound "good" compared to the price of the whole. It serves primarily to form a staff that stands out from the mix: personally, with almost half of the simulation lamp, engaged with the shape in the mid / bass, I get something flapping but not too acute, very low charge, as I like. For slap, I turn off the simulation (keeping the shape) and ca avoids twisting the ears of everyone with the high notes. The difference in level can be annoying, but it is not for use as I do.
It's not something professional, but it may well improve your sound, in summary.
OVERALL OPINION
It's going to be about 6 months that I use, I like customizing the sound it helped me, despite some minor flaws: inadequate equalization, adjustable knobs hard in the dark breath.
