- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ... I bought the PCM 91 for a rverbe the cathedral and I have chosen following the positive opinion on the internet trs. Personally I am a bit of to have bought new. I recommend the acqurir Used to 1,200 euros. Lexicon lives of its glorious past.

UTILIZATION

To the Lexicon, it's simple publishing compared to older models.
This is complicated when compared to other brands like TC. But hey, there is progress then we will not complain ...

SOUND QUALITY

Excellent quality. I read earlier that Afien preferred the sound of TC. I also have the TC but the Lexicon is warmer and more "fat". However, at this level there is no "best" or "worse", there are more "different" and the PCM91 is very high quality.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for several years (when it is output). Previously I used a PCM90 with the same sound, but less presets and digital outputs in S / PDIF.
This is a reverb that does only one regret: that of not having bought earlier.

The price, of course ... it is not accessible to all "home studio" (which also have no need of such high quality). But hey, when you love, it does not matter, it is well known. This is pro reverb in the sound, interface and price.

OVERALL OPINION

When you have some exprience in this kind of machine (follow my gaze to the first notice) you know you can make a good impression of a pure Premire rverbe in putting too.
With good rverbe is a lack of got with a lower one is cata. Clearly, the PCM91 is a good rverbe with a system that edition of weird for that is not used logic Lexicon, but trs powerful who knows how to use.
Pass this small problem, it benefitted the signature Lexicon, spacious and warm. It MRIT its price, and I do not judge from TC because they do not have the same quality, and therefore not the same forcment uses. IDAL is to have one of each in the rack (plus H3000).
I would do without this purchase problem. I prfre much the 960, but it is too heavy transport

Although the manual is required to make best use of this wonderful what the PCM 91 reverb, and understand what we do.

The rverbraions are beautiful! The PCM 91 DIFFERENT places us into any more beautiful than the other, the room to the subtle sounds of the wild re space through the beautiful flower! Trs sincrement to find better you have to put more CHRE (960L, 480L), also the staff for 300 of the same manufacturer, I find that the PCM is at times 91 games with scabies this beautiful reverb!

The Lexicon PCM 91 is a digital reverb unit. It is rack mountable and it will take up a single rack space unit. It is a stereo unit and it has both 1/4 inch and XLR inputs and outputs. It has a memory card slot for those who have older units or want to store their pre set sounds on the memory card to swap them between different Lexicon units. I have only used the PCM 91 in the studio, but it would also work well within a rack based guitar rig.

UTILIZATION

The general configuration of the Lexicon PCM 91 digital reverb unit is basic for a unit like this, but does like a bit of figuring out if you are not familiar with effects like this. It is easy to get and control the reverb pre sets and parameters that this has to offer, and also won't take to long until you are making and storing your own. The manual for this is pretty complete, and is definitely good to have around while you are trying to learn how to use the PCM 91.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality of the PCM 91 is top notch. The reverb effects are full sounding and the unit is overall versatile in terms of the different types of reverbs you can produce with this. I have used the PCM 91 on a myriad of different instruments, including electric guitar, lap steel guitar, vocals, and snare drum. I won't ever record with this on my signal, but while mixing it can come in quite handy.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using the Lexicon PCM 91 for about five years, and while it is a great sounding reverb unit, I find myself using plug-ins more and more for reverb. The reason for this is because it is much easier to control and save, and I can get some sounds that are comparable o this unit at a fraction of the cost. While the reverbs on this will probably be better than that of most plug-ins, sometimes the convenience of plug-ins can outweigh a slight difference in sound quality. This being said, if you are looking for a rack mountable reverb unit, you definitely can't go wrong with this, but the big price tag will make a lot of people shy away because they can get reverb within their digital audio workstations. Overall, if you want a digital reverb unit like this, this is worth a try.
