OVERALL OPINION
I also have a universal SSM1.
The first is the fate of microphones Diameter 2.5cm 5cm.
The SSM6 microphones for maximum of 1.5 2.5cm.
My EM9900 was also hard to get (at least a force on the elastic) but the stability is to go once the XLR cord connect.
For 790 !!!!!!! It's really good stuff!
If your microphone is not large trs, go ahead without hsiter!
It's solid and it trs class.
It is even tonn. I myself have long confused the same SSM6 / 1 by their quality and price, SSM6 restoring a more robust and mtal, while SSM1 includes many spices plastics (35euros) .
