The Nashville based new manufacturer Spontaneous Audio Devices unveils it first Son of Kong effect pedal for guitar and bass.
Son of Kong combines a parametric EQ to a gain and a DI in a two-channel compact pedal. The architecture was created by Arthur Sloatman, who worked as Frank Zappa’s technician and based his work on the gain and EQ circuits used by the artist.
Main features:
- 2 switchable channels
- DI output
- 15dB of gain on the first channel
- 35dB of gain on the second channel
- Parametric equalizer with 20dB of boost/cut, available on the channels and the DI
- Hard bypass
- Through jack for feeding other pedals or switching amps
- Possibility to mute the DI and Through on channel 2 via an internal jumper
- Possibility to use the output, DI and Through simultaneously
- 9V battery or up to 40V power supply
