For each entry, a phase inverter, a low-cut filter and a "gain boost" to adjust the gain to a low input (or to deliberately overload the input).
Look fabulous with both VU meters "old" informed ...

UTILIZATION

Simple and yet complete. The low-cut filter and phase reverse are sometimes quite useful.
In contrast, the gain knobs are too vague because not graduated or notched. Consequence: when I have the sound with an instrument, I no longer touches the knob before making any decision of this instrument ...
A little less so, but overall it's very simple and very practical.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is excellent! For the record, it's perfect. It does not add to its particular color, but that's what I ask. It allows me to record all types of instruments / voices.
He embellishes the sound without distorting it. Much better than any preamp with a mixer.
Maybe a little blow when you push the gain, but nothing that is really annoying, even taken for definitive album.

OVERALL OPINION

For the price it is excellent!
I used the preamp until a small table Beringher 4 tracks (as can be done ...), but I could not get a "real" sound, with all the dynamics and precision that I wanted. It took me try this preamp for what was missing.
I tested it with a studio microphone Beringher B2 and guitar Gibson Les Paul. In both cases, the rendering was both faithful to the source both beautified.
No complaints. I buy when I have the money to ...
