Analog preamp. Good sound. The EQ adds a special character to the sound. I use it to give some warmth to the sound of my synths and samples.

Comprehensive connections. It has two stereo inputs (= four inputs) so I also use it as a small mixer. A pair of inputs are fed with the Triton via an Apogee converter and the other pair is connected to my Vestax mixer to record samples of my vinyl records.

Comprehensive connections.

UTILIZATION

Channel strip.

Clear user's manual. Link:

SOUND QUALITY

The preamp and especially the EQ give sound a real color with round lows, although it depends on the source signal but the sound is there.

This channel strip is a bit underrated because of the mess between Toff and Oram regarding the Trident Audio company.
