Used with a tube amp Laney 30 Xatts: excellent sound, but I bought it to customize it and put ARTEC "Giovanni" CG1 and CG2, kind of PAF 57 modern excellent quality (at the top ARTEC): the bluesy rock and a wish.

Easy round to play, great maneuverability, nice cutting and fine body !!!
The sound is that of ARTEC microphones: excellent in every respect. The original pickups are correct no more.
I also like the simplicity: 1 volume and 1 tone I changed to split the single dual microphones which confers him a great capacity of its !!!
For the price, I do not see what is not good !!!!

UTILIZATION

Handle end for quick Thurs Form "SA". Very good grip easy access to acute. Versatility due to the HSS configuration.
It has a vibrato that is much better than the Fender yet more expensive ...

SOUNDS

I can not make an informed judgment on the sound because the one I tried was not its original pickups. In any case, what I can say is that the SA series is not made for metal but for the rock as it is explained on the Ibanez site. So do not plant you in your purchase.
