«  When ignorance wreaks havoc ... »

In short, I have a Squier JV 62 'Stratocaster 1983 in perfect condition everything is original.

UTILIZATION

The neck is perfect for me, but it's subjective. I like thick handles for the sound they produce.

SOUNDS

A marvel! I smiled when I read in some articles that the JV are commonplace, it is true as a musician Jeff Healey was in addition to being blind, deaf (which is rare for a musician). Yet he must know something before speaking ill of a guitar is that each model or not sound. Clearly, L series may sound like a pot, but there also has L series are masterpieces. Well it's the same with the JV series, I bought mine bring my Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop Time Machine 60's had an amazing mojo and buried her many customs shop, and well after a test on the Mesa Boogie Seller, I realized that the JV meant, because I had the chance of getting a model that can compete with my 60's Time Machine. Notice to buyers, try before you buy model. A luthier friend who is very knowledgeable and hugely settled me my JV told me one day that he had set a series L shabby and the same day a Squier Classic Vibe that sounded fabulous. For you to form an opinion. Note that similar stories about other models are possible, but set his instrument is the sine qua non. Tip: stay open, open your ears and test.

OVERALL OPINION

In my case this JV is equal to the best Stratocaster I played. Over the handle does not move and it does not go out of tune more than my custom shop. In short, I revere ... I understand the late Jeff and I paid tribute to him, and that at its wonderful way to communicate emotions by the sound of the JV.
