moosers's review

The BeyerDynamic DT 770's are a set of high quality studio headphones. The studio that I work at has a pair of these on hand, although they aren't always used as headphones for monitoring during recording unless absolutely needed. The headphones have a closed back and reproduce a phenomenal range of frequencies from 5 Hz to 35 kHz. The DT 770's are also some of the most comfortable headphones that I've ever worn. They are really soft and fit nicely on your ears, while at the same time they cover up the sound so you won't be getting much bleed out of them. They are of course adjustable for different sizes and on the end of the cable is an 1/8" jack, although I believe when you buy a new pair of these you'll also get a 1/4" adapter. As far as sound quality is concerned, the BeyerDynamic DT 770's are hard to beat, as they are some of the fullest sounding headphones that I've used to date. They cover the full spectrum of frequencies incredibly well both on paper and in practice as you can really hear the difference here. While I'm weary of mixing on any headphones, if you were going to do it, these would be the pair to do so on. They have a great low end response to go along with a nice and crisp high end and a full bodied mid range. They're awesome for checking mixes on, but since they sound so good, their usefulness definitely extends beyond this. The price of the BeyerDynamic DT 770's may scare a few people away, but this is going to be the price you pay for a set of high end studio headphones like this, and sometimes even more. If you're looking for an all in one set of high end studio headphones, the BeyerDynamic DT 770's are a great way to go...

ortax-creations's review

In my possession for a week now, I find this headset trs over many other headphones. Thank you the blonde's Home Store Studio (Paris) I recommend for its srieux and good humor (Avoid the weekend There's the world!)

Returning to the DT770, before reaching this choice I tried diffrent headphone closed. The sony 7506, the Sennheiser HD265 (so! If! This crap in his fi), the HD 25 and HD 25 SP at all.

The two that come out of the lot for me are the DT770 and the HD 25. The HD25 should especially as it is flattering DJs / dynamic, has a good sound trs trs. Now for mastering or work on hard-good sound (from the acoustic electronica) DT770 is the way ahead for two reasons:

> Capacity of grate trs low frequencies, harmony of the headphone in the range of 5Hz to 35kHz
> For a headphone closed its cost is extremely large and offers a superb Stereo

It's not for nothing that is found in major studios around the world including the William Tell Suresnes / Paris.

The DT770 is around 170euros and did not I think of equivalent in this price range.

To cost for those who want a good trs costs.

very good headphone closed: clear and precise sound

By philrud, 25/03/2012
Acquérit there about 10-11 years, this headphone is faithful in his precise and clear notes, but no false clarity. Compared to other headphones I have, a very famous brand, the only thing I can note is a slight lack of fluidity yet does not harm the settings and controls son.La high quality of this headset is to be solid, cash it without flinching.
Other headphones are less clear that he and dig a little medium: which is rather prohibitive for good judgment and sound control, not the DT770.
Question low: no cheating, it does nothing before, which still allows for an objective opinion on the Sound mix, or mastering.Certains say there is a slight blur in a small area at the bottom: it is not impossible, but this detail is not located over the entire band basse.Perso, I am totally satisfied with the settings for basses.Mais it is true that we must listen to the speakers over a neutral preference. and they would sometimes note of small nuances.
This is a closed headphone, which reduces well without it being a noise-canceling headphones: not fully locked external sounds.
