Purchased currently three weeks.

This is my first sub.
Purchased to complete my bass guitar amp especially for benefits outside.

So far I had only played on small sound systems HK Lucas, Martin + 2x400W Harrison VMOS without sub, thebox CL112 (really small) Bose L1 and bass amps Trace Elliot 4x12, Hartke 4x10, 1x15 craft, Peavey 1x15, 2x12 Hartke.

I use a head ashdown little giant 350 + speaker 15 "+ 2 tweeters bullet, I was looking for a good quality sound (with accompanying songs and jazz fretless bass Cort B4FL.) The 15" amp should be supplemented by a sub 18 "to be consistent.

This is a 1x18 active sub "type band-pass.
The SPL is given to 131dB, I have not measured but fellow musicians who were in the audience (outdoor concert) liked.
BP announced 35 to 250Hz, without elaborating.
500W power advertised, unspecified either, but it's really the powerful use.
Weight 45kg. Puree.
Dimensions 70 x 58 x 53cm.
Seen by a transformer vent ring indicating an analog amp, probably MOS-FET power saw serious.

After a break of 3 concerts in 1 room + outside with a stone wall behind the TA18 proved more than enough for projecting at least 10m, without help from a wall, or on the back or on the sides or front cover. Bandwidth gradually decreasing soil at low E (49-41 Hz), but I had fallen low by security because I play without limiter. Bass between 2-channel Soundcraft EPM6 a left exit for ashdown head 15 "and right output for the TA18 (XLR only) to equalize separately.

- XLR outputs for satellites do not filtered air (doc dumb), but I have not checked. At least they exist.
- No input jack, but it is normal for the sound equipment.

Quality / Price

Remarkable. For amateur equipment is strong, powerful, clean, seemingly well built. Reliability: appointments in one year.
There are better and lighter for the same power, but not at all the same price.
The audience really enjoyed the sound quality (outdoor, 100).
I would say almost professional equipment first prize (provided that you stick a fake label "Nexo" Just kidding In addition I do not like too Nexo.).

A remake or not?

For this particular purpose, the TA18 is a remarkable reinforcement, very reasonably priced, clean and powerful sound. I would have liked a dry sound a little more (to pay with 12 "or 15" front). I have not tested the bass drum above.

Well, it's heavy, but at this price and given the performance, I do not see how I could regret it.

Bought used a year ago, I needed a sub to complement a pair of SX200 Elecro-Voice (12 "), to play the piano bar on a large outdoor terrace for the summer season.
The machine is awesome, very heavy, probably too big for my use, no corners or wheels, so provide a devil to move and two people to lift it into a vehicle, but it rocks against a max it should take it easy, low wear away, I use also room at a very low level and in the end it proves indispensable.
Even outside, I pushed just so it sends the person to whom I had purchased the mobile disco and told me he kept one of the two, and he put the amp TA 18, a third of its power, so it's powerful, I want to believe.
The frequency setting is complete, good surprise, I put the high cut 100 Hz instead of the usual 90, to leave a little low high because I have only 12 "satellites.
That's a big sub, heavy, bulky, crude formwork but with a damn good filter, and the phenomenal power for a very affordable price.
I guess there are better its fine or whatever, but at what price, what kind of sub amplified costing an arm quickly.
In any case, I am more than satisfied, with little financial means.
Lacking experience on other subs I force myself to remain moderate in my appreciation and I put him 8/10, but for the price maybe he deserves even more?

Very good product quality / price ratio, I used this active subwoofer with two speakers "TA12" brand "The Box" she amplified the same. Indoors it is possible to make sound systems allstyles more than two hundred people.
I've never try it out but it is better to take two "TA18" for such events as power disperses faster, better dissemination is recommended.
To stay in the range, the best configuration is to use two TA18 TA12 and two of her treat her well and put the right height to TA12.
The only drawback is that this box is quite heavy (50kg) so plan a skate board if there are long distances to go before the scene.
Otherwise it is transported by a person pulling.

I received one month ago, on pallets, cardboard and voila! A monster!

I like its price, power, build quality, the less weight (45kg) and size (it comes with no door to my 406) but the 399th 500W active 18-inch ... ca is a reflection!

The value is unbeatable, XLR connectors, integrated high-cut filter and 250 Hz adjustable jusq'a, thomann is a store where you can buy with your eyes closed all they sell, I test their brand swisssonic, tuna millennium, T.bone, the box and really, it's the same build quality that marks copied ... at a fraction toue competition in Europe, services and more!!

This subwoofer is powerful, profound wish, the bass has the pure state with fishing, gouache as it takes to 399th and 500W active, a 45kg unit!

I will repeat that choice soon, a second is not too much, especially at that price, by coupling them with a pair of 400w ative, it will be happiness for the moment, I only have two active PA 110a that work wonders with this well, although I was forced to limit the power of the latter, but they will go back stage when I have two most powerful in the facade with a second MT 18 ...

trs trs complment good bass to be just "a box is sick" strong and powerful yet powerful to less than 400 nothing to say,
Thomann communication is excellent store trssrieux,
the box has a long view if the card electronic rsiste ... fawn all the housing is guaranteed for 3 years.

I just got it and I test with 20 or 30 sounds. I waited so long to be said that Germany is a long journey, especially when your package goes through two or three carriers ... Finally, it is!
- What is the particular feature you like best and least?

The pros: - The Basses are imprssionantes on any music stand!
- The housing is not moving, it sends a good long, low trs enjoyable

The -: - Weight, a little heavy but I get a little wearing even when, a devil and you're playing if you fear for your back. (Me is the case ^ ^). Otherwise two carry handle, so if you're 2 is very practical

No, this is the first sub but it is really effective trs.

We can not do better in the CATEGORY I think, bought 398 at Thomann.

Not a lot of exprience with yet but I think I will not be dcu with my purchase, for 400 is the solution for people like me

A good 10/10 even if the weight is a little teacher, was the performance as expected and a little elbow grease will do us no harm

I use it for a year and dico in my living room.

- No wheels

I try several models manufactured a gift from my care. This silent pretty penny but less powerful, it cost more CHRE manufacture.

Its strength is that IDAL for a "top budget". Its report is correct and will impress you if this is your first sub.

The quality of manufacture fairly average. I think even that's a time bomb. The limiter Intgr is a toy. The amplifier Intgr will serve as a supplementary heating in your accessories. The foam has an indoor as in direct contact with the components of the receiver and quickly flammable, it's scary ... (It's not rock wool or glass I prlev one end and ignite quickly).
However he is still alive after 6 months of use.

Finally a good record for small System. He does not play in the course of the great but good sound. The quality of manufacture is the height of the price: If it catches fire, you will need to carry around 45 kg of the collection's outdoor Barbec up if you value your home. Therefore, for a first prize I would advise you over the passive version, with an amp for a low-end report and a price equivalent.

What thing do you like most/least about it?

- I like almost everything about this Caison, even if its weight is 45 kilos it's not a problem because at this price point we do not just ask for much either.
- The fact that it is very pleasant amplified because there is no need to shoot 50 km of cable.
- For my 4 SAT is good but it's true that another Caison will not hurt
- To use enexterieur is the top: the lower disagree on around 10m Caison, they are much more pleasant to use mic.

Did you try many other models before getting this one? No this is my first box and I still can not find better value for money.

I use the T18 (liability) for 2 months. I tried sub homemade listening to a lot of sub brand in the evening.

First, the finish is correct without more: Event not very smooth, paint scratches easily, no corner protectors and wool acoustic stapled in a hurry ...

Then the sound: the yield is fairly good at 98db, BP drops low enough (measured-3dB at 40Hz). Overall it sounds good with a low round, a little muffled but not very powerful. Do you expect not to feel big infra: the lower spectrum is slightly messy, but with a good amp (min. 6-700w RMS), the overall result is good.

The value for money is very good because even if we did not finish, it was the sound! In short, a versatile sub, with no major defects listening to sounds that will delight small budget.
