Manuel clear, detailed but not sufficient

SOUNDS

On a gibson les paul studio's round, warm, powerful clean and beautiful harmonics lead.

the sound is brighter than a Vox AC 30 CC2 but a little less dynamic (linked to Chinese lamps). the vox is 3 times more!

Unbeatable value for money, let the heat through or you may be disappointed at first ...

The clean sound is warm and dynamic, the diffrence with my old 100W hybrid means!
saturation for me for the great big rock, boost offers the flexibility of a 3rd channel

Setup is simple we put the branch in its class (texture) for crystal clear sound for playing jazz / blues and ab class if you want a sound like heavy distortion with beautiful harmonics and adjusted the gain in the style ... I always leave the ab class because I like the sound crystal clear and slamming both the distortion and dynamic ... jadore

I have this amp for a year and a half for the price and believe me there is nothing better for a 100w tube with both super clean sounds and sounds super saturated y 'is not much ...

No, I will take a less powerful MODEL, I never Exceeds knob half the volume! Otherwise I try the board of hybrids in randall, they at least their light amplification does not burn, they do not.

This is the same amp as the 1x12 valvking but just added one extra 1x12 speaker and doubling the wattage up to 100 watts.

This is one extremely versatile combo amp. It has two channel one for clean and then one for a dirty tone. Both channels are very usable and voiced for a great rock n roll sound. The amp has a ton of features like reverb and a bright switch as well as a boost switch for the lead lines.

The amp is voiced more in the British flavor of things. Even though it has 6L6 power tubes which is more used in American metal tones, the amps overall is more toward the British voicings. The tone is remarkable for being at the price point that it is in.

The only thin I don't like about this amp is the effects loop in on the front of the amp. this means if you use the effects loop you will have 3 cables running in the front of this beats and couple that wit a mic then you are getting crowded.

SOUNDS

If you keep the amp in the clean channel and click the bright switch in the off position then you get a solid jazz tone that is rich and full bodied. It is a very warm tone great for jazz riffs and runs. If you click the bright switch on then you get a great spanky country clean tone. All you need then is to add a little reverb and you are golden.

When you go over to the dirty channel this is where things heat up. The tone is very thick and chunky. I like this tone with a medium to low body tone such as an ash or alder bodied guitar. This get your tone to cut ore when you have such a beefy distortion tone.

OVERALL OPINION

For the money it doesn't really get any better than this amp. At new these amps come in at around $650, which in my opinion is a steal for a solid two channel amplifier. The ability to switch from class A to AB is another remarkable feature this amp has.

I would recommend this amp to anyone who is on the lookout for a great sounding combo amp that won't break the bank and that has real tubes in it. There is no modeling or solid state design in this amp...just real tube distortion and thick colorful clean tones.

I play mainly blues rock funky finally whether to define the dominant styles.

AC is 4 months since I 'm used only for the concert (rehearsal room equipped and far), that is too good. It is well worth a twin that is even more versatile with the nice texture setting.
The weight c is that of a lamp and a 2x12 c is its main fault.
You can change the lights without having to settle the biassssss.

So after reading other reviews, I believe that c is that of the notice below that I have bought (morphus), as what follows the use and scratches that you have the satisfaction may vary, again ca still sends the beautiful clear sounds in this config and I add that even the former owner have been surprised at the test with my strat over by the sound that came out (if you read you confirm this is not.) Brief c in my opinion is a really good deal.

Quite versatile considering its price range.

UTILIZATION

Easy configuration: one EQ per channel and two channels. Just warm up the amp and play!

The worst is definitely the footswitch, which is very expensive and made out of plastic...

It's difficult to get a really good sound! The lead channel allows you to play rock stuff and nothing else!

The clean channel sounds nice but I don't use it that much!

It didn't match my music style (Parkway Drive and August Burns Red metal core) although I got acceptable results after customizing it.

I upgraded the speakers, added a 2 x 12" speaker cabinet (for a total of four speakers), used a TL Audio 5051 as preamp stage and a Metal Muff pedal to get a satisfying result!

For the last gig without a PA system I had enough power compared to the other guitarist who plays a Peavey XXX with a 4 x 12" Framus cabinet.

I give it a 7, not without first repeating that you need to customize it to get good results!

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using this amp with a band for about one year.

It sounds nice if you upgrade several components.

The amp is rather heavy and I added handles on the side panels to transport it with the help of someone else because it's very difficult to carry it on your own.

My first amp was a 60-watt solid-state Peavey Bandit and I didn't want to buy a Peavey again... I also owned a Marshall MG100 DFX and when I decided to buy a tube amp I chose a Peavey again (this Valveking). Now I have a 5150 so Peavey can't be that bad lol.

Good value for money, perhaps even virtually unbeatable except by the new Bugera 333XL... but it's a low-end tube amp! So don't expect to get the sound!

Based on my experience, I would save my money to buy a real tube head and a 4 x 12" cabinet, which is a much more effective solution!
