UTILIZATION

4 channels but completely Self-Employed, so very easy on operating, we almost regret navoir quune knob deph of presence and punch. Rgler therefore very easy, the only compromise on both the presence and rglages deph.



 The manual ( http://www.engl-amps.com/manuals/E640-OM.pdf ) is clear but nexist quen English and German, no version Franaise, at the same time one can spend sen, especially if you like me Do not operate the MIDI


 


 The only default I believe as a noise gate that is not worth the specialist in the genre. And I think that is almost ncessaire on this head that blows a lot in distortion.



 8 / 10: no Franaise version of the manual, not top noise gate, blows.


SOUNDS

Javais a Marshall JCM 2000, that I would like that, but jai wanted to change grain just davoir and versatility. Not ultra fan of Peavey, not their loved XXX. I dont ever t fan Mesa Rectifier and reputable in terms of their reliability tends to cool me. Fancy a shot of true customer service when ppins. Dacheter willingness to test before, not just buy samples. So find a brand distributed in France.



 

 I do not mtais Engl east on the departure. Javais test the Powerball, the Richie Blackmore, the pramplis 530, 580 and that as a combo with pdalier and jai forget what the name ntait no trick. The Blackmore was too Lesprit in Marshall, and I just wanted something else. Powerball, the 580 and the combo had a sound very (too) straight, precise. The Mount pramplis do not more excited than that. So jtais rest on this idea too clear sound and slamming his overall I would call cold.

 


 Jai Invader at this discovery of a small concert, or I could hear the direct sound of the head and jai t bluff with sounds clear, the bluesy crunch, everything I thought impossible to go out on a Engl. The essay has in store convinced me. The Invader is actually quite DIFFERENT from the rest of the production Engl. In any case of 7 products jai tests.

 


 The 2 Distortion channel is excellent, it allows davoir 2 distos diverged, and as I play a lot in disto cest something japprcie. A very good clean, a rare head hi gain. A crunch also very relevant. In a word: VERSATILE (And not versatile lamps Finally the limit)

 


 The samples will be more explicit than what nimporte report writing. Cest dailleurs with a Torpedo that I used with the User dsormais aprslavoir Lengler 2x12. The user with the Torpedo allowed me to rediscover the head through the speakers that I necessarly Nauris not use pens, especially those in HP Greenback, and finally realize that the V30 are not necessarly my cam. My guitar is a Fernandes Ravelle Elite (see my review)

OVERALL OPINION

 Jaime versatility above all else and the reliability of the brand.

 


 2 in my default: not top the noise gate, and especially no pdalier Provided (190 euros without Z9 MIDI cable), this award cest abuse.

 


 With the Z9 besides the report does an excellent quality price would be.

 


 It neither head not so much with 4-channel fully Self-Employed, so I probably would do this choice, especially with that budget. But I would have tested the Diezel VH4, which nevertheless have 30% more expensive. That said I do not know if Diezel provided a pdalier, which rduirait Cartel. And not to remain on bad prjugs (Torpedo davis change my well done on some HP and Engl Invader on), I would test the Mesa Mark V More expensive but only 3 channels 5-band EQ per channel and operates in several modes.



 8 / 10: Trs good head, but the absence of pdalier lowers the price quality ratio. Other small default (no manual in French, not top noise gate, blows a little too whichever part distortion) are slightly lower note. But it is not far from faultless!
