Preamp tube, four 12AX7. Triodes assigned to the input, to clean, the Satus and even has the effects loop.
3 Canneaux Clean / Crunch / Ultra with a boost for both saturated and a cranberry EQ Separée clean and Crunch / Lead.
Active EQ on cranberry saturated (-15 to +15 dB), Meidum button push / pull to change the frequency applied (Truva and a big big sound!)
Loop effects of death for all 1, for a clean, one for crunch, one for the Ultra 1 and Ultra for all / Crunch. Config monstrously Complete!
1 V output for power amps, pedals, etc., 3 V for a lamp power amplifiers and line output XLR for direct input in a console.
Stereo footswitch jack, internal power supply (hopefully!)
Model Rack 1U solid.
UTILIZATION
Configuration very simple and very fine adjustments. Tinkering in the active EQ, you can change the sound a lot by moving the little knob. Think noted its settings
The manual is adequate, the inputs and outputs are well detailed. After it was our brains to play, nobody can find our sound is our place
SOUNDS
Retube preamp with phillips (dynamic and beautiful grain, soft saturation)
Peavey Grain is here ... But what a sound!
The Clean may be slamming or jazzy, very dynamic.
The Crunch can tickle the channel lead to a lot of other preamps. well balanced, it is comptueux. A beautiful grain.
The Ultra channel is monstrous, very powerful, super compressed, close-grained and compact for its very heavy but precise.
In short, Jazz / Blues / Rock / Heavey-neo-death metal, anything is possible with this preamp.
OVERALL OPINION
It is incredible!
Anything is possible with this preamp.
In home studio through a simulation of speakers (even an ultra imple-G or v-amp which disables the preamp) give enough gain for all bourrinos and enough personality and drive to all the blues.
Live, he will gain too much to give, and the Crunch could be enough to play Mr. Manson.
Preamp perfect, versatile, with a beautiful timbre and Clean / Crunch hyper dynamic.

Is not very expensive OCCAZ (currently about € 200), so the value for money is extreme.
EDIT 21.08.2006:
I went for the simulation of baffles v-amp 2 has a microcab. I have also been heard as true, this preamp is always wonderful, but even more than before, if possible. I rediscovered the grain and the intense heat of crunch.
Also, I replaced the lamp V1 input stage by a lamp with a beefier and to gain supperior Phillips: The grain magic is still there and the change of a single lamp has really increased dramatically gain. This preamp has its own personality but they also respond very well to changing lamps. A true wonder!
