Tube preamp guitar (4 * 12AX7, in general these days we only have 2),
-Entry low and high gain,
3 channels:
Light with spare + prsence equalization,
-Crunch and distortion equalization with common gain and channel volume, push / pull to increase the gain on each channel.
5 Boulc effect!
Clear-channel
-General
+ Disto-crunch
Single-crunch
Disto-only
3 outputs:
- 1V to connect between the return of the effects loop of a head
- 3V to feed a power amp tube
- Balanced XLR DI out
footswitch essential if we are on the channel distortion all the time.

UTILIZATION

Use mega simple, you plug it and turn the volume knob>>> the sound comes out
The equalization is passive but active clear sound on the sound was saturated and the margin!
Note, a push-pull on the medium that moves the frquence that one rule, to have a sound a little hollow or contraite settle more in the upper medium.
The manual available on the peavey site provides examples of settings that I did not test but anyway it's hard to make it sound so bad its use is simple ...

SOUNDS

It's really a good camera! The clean sound a bit saturated with powerful microphones if plugs into the high gain, low blow I use the boost gain + gain on the Distortion channel.
The sound and really Clais lens, a layer will do wonders in it,
The crunch has a range of its super Varis, clear of the large distortion if you push the gain a bottom and passing through beautiful bluesy overdrive and crunch rock with biting well even when a modern touch, not too marshall, ca change for once!
The distortion channel has gain a reserve Whereas, if you start in high gain you will not need to put a background for the death metal distos crazy! The grain is very tight today.

This preamp really respond diffrent depending on what you plug in, an SG team in EMG in channel 3 you block out sound massive and compact that will make your walls vibrate, a Schecter Drops Si a shot of a little less attack and a DIFFERENT microphones will sound just as huge but diffrent that the microphones are less acute in charge.
In the crunch channel, a layer will give you a beautiful overdrive as I had always rev before, if he is my les paul a apresn without changing the settings of the ca is good rock'n'roll crunch

Huge advantage of this machine, for my case no breath! I believe it! No one pete background noise with humbuckers!
I put 9 because the grain can put off some modern some fans and I think with a good set can be about anything you want but not really all in the strict sense of the word.

OVERALL OPINION

I have a few days, but I have absolutely no complaints, the gain has a background to LARSEN trends but it is reasonable and normal.
I wanted a 3-channel preamp tube with a real clear, I'm ready!
The pink and blue well srigraphie eighties gives a priori on the beast and we should be wary! This prampli very close to 5150 t and the base of the head pramp peavey XXL too.
On occasion it is found in the 200 euros and for that price there is not much else to another, as I have no money to throw in a TriAxis I think hang on to this beast.
The grain a little modern disposal may be few but me I was tired of Mr. Marshall's everyone and I found a shoe my foot!
