Value For Money : Excellent
- What technical specifications motivated your choice?
Need a more efficient sound card.

- For what purpose?
Make better decision for her models and auto-production.

- What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
Toshiba Satellite PC (Pentium Dual-Core clocked 1.46 and 1.47 GHz) with Vista SP1
An internal hard drive (2x60 GB) and external (300 GB) RAM: 2 GB

- Which instruments or Systmes (console, prampli, DTD ...) you use it and how connections? ...
Before: guitar (ESP LTD Explorer / Ibanez Ergodyne) + Multi-Effects Zoom G7 plugged into the PC's microphone.
Now: Guitar 1 + UX + Cool Edit Pro 2 (could not be more simple!)

UTILIZATION

- Installation is it without problem?
You must install the installation CD before connecting the Gearbox UX1, as described on the cover in large discs. For my part I have to go to the sute of Line 6 Tlcharger the new version of Gearbox, which is compatible with Vista 32 bits. The following are all dmarches trs simple.

- Have you experienced any incompatibility?
No, if not the download version of Vista on the Line 6 website.

- The configuration gnrale is easy?
Once the installation begins there is that to be guided to finally connect the UX1. After the installation completes, open the "Monkey", a program that provides information via the Internet if updates are available depending on your configuration to ensure optimum compatibility. Once this step completes, you can finally plug in a guitar / bass / microphone singing. After five minutes were almost all entered. Unless you know nothing about guitar effects, it has the feel of its own hardware to be given as the clarity of the interface of Gearbox.

- The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
It is in English but that did not pos problem. Submitted it as a PDF file which you can click on the summary DIFFERENT chapters to arrive directly what is desired. dfile not need to do all the pages is trs apprciable if English put you off.

GETTING STARTED

- The drivers are stable?
Apparently yes.

- Are they often put day?
I think so.

- What software do you use most often?
Cool Edit Pro 2 and Adobe Audio 3. Note that software, RiffWorks, which seems to serve as registration is via the Monkey Tlcharger of Gearbox.

- What you get lag?
I do not see any dcalage between the note played and the note heard is stunning!

- How many tracks you get record / playback simultanment? ...
I do not know if we can record a bass or guitar and a microphone with XLR at the same time.

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it?
Few days.

- What is the particular feature you like best and least?
I love its simplicity of operation (many pre-rglages to play right away) and its price but the big advantage of this device is the quality of sound that I can have. I get a death metal distortion of an excellent quality without even having to pay for Tlcharger The elements optional (new virtual amps for example). In addition, we can Tlcharger sounds of famous guitarists through the Gearbox which is not nothing! I could get the sound of Dimebag or Kerry King on some of their songs.
However, I feel that bass players and singers are less fortunate because the UX1 is primarily for players but I could be wrong because I used the UX1 for guitar.

- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
I wanted to buy the beginners Tone Port GX but my dealer gave me a discount on trsgnreux UX1. I will also record the bass and singing trs ending for the UX1 seemed so suited.

- How do you report qualitprix?
Excellent to have a good sound trs low cost.

- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ...
Yes. For the price, simplicity and quality.
