Two new portable audio interfaces are on display at the Zoom booth - the 2x4 channels U-24 and 4x4 U-44.
Zoom’s new U-24 et U-44 are small sized audio interfaces aimed at traveling musicians and DJs who use their laptob computers or tablets.
Both models offer a 24-bits/96 kHz resolution and feature direct monitoring, two mic/instrument inputs with gain settings and hi-Z mode, 48V phantom power and 6.35 jack & RCA outputs. A MIDI in/out is also featured as well as coaxial & optical S/PDIF connectors.
The U-44 has an additional connector that allows to plug a mic capsule directly on it, making it able to be turned into direct recorder for Mac, PC or iPad. 6 different capsule models will be available. According to Zoom, all interfaces will come bundled with Ableton Live 9.
