Output Sounds, a new audio software developer from LA, introduces REV, the world's first collection of reversed instruments and effects for Kontakt.
REV features 4 instrument engines (Instruments, Time Instruments, Loops and Rises) that allows users to play sounds, IN REVERSE, in real-time.
We know what you’re thinking: this sounds absolutely ridiculous! How is this even possible? Well rest assured, because within less than a month, REV has already been tested and endorsed by some of the world’s top producers, including David Kahne (Producer of Paul McCartney, Sublime, and The Strokes).
The library includes more than a 1000 patches (14GB of uncompressed content). All sounds are automatically synced to the tempo of your project. Additionally, you can adjust various parameters, both in the sound booth and on the fly (filters, stutters, effects, trigger fx…).
REV opens pandora’s box for creative types, it’s almost too much to take in! Whether you’re a producer or a musician, a composer or a sound engineer, you can open up a whole new world of musical possibilities by using REV to play your favorite instruments, as well as complex new sounds, both backwards and in real time.
