Oscillicious has announced the release ofSongStarter, a new organic music production tool.
This release follows a public beta, and incorporates changes based on beta feedback.
SongStarter is a music production app for jamming using a live looping workflow. Starting with a beat, musicians can jam using 31 built-in instruments and write music. Jams are stored in standard formats and are exportable to popular DAWs via drag and drop. SongStarter is compatible with USB MIDI keyboards.
Featuring presets from the SodaSynth and Analog Extracts plug-ins by Oscillicious, SongStarter also includes a range of classic sampled instruments. They are combined with 14 drum beats by producer Carlo Carosi.
A free trial of SongStarter is available for download.

The full version of SongStarter for Windows and Mac OS X can be purchased from the Oscillicious online shop for $39.99 / € 34.99 / £ 29.99 and is delivered by digital download.
