«  A disto organic »

Published on 03/08/12 at 12:29
Value For Money : Excellent
This is a distortion pedal (with octaver) and overdrive.
This is the analog, the pedal operates 9v but the circuit is 18v. level connectivity is basic in / out and 9v power supply (type boss)

UTILIZATION

There's quite a lot of button control, it took me a good month to find settings I like.
The manual helps a little early.
I find the knobs "Tone" and "Octave" of the masses do not change the sound.

SOUND QUALITY

The distortion is very good, it's really the sound I was looking for, although at first I told myself that it was not good. The sound is organic, living, dynamic, short it "breathes".

I use it with a JB (2 humbuckers) primarily, the disto respects the settings of the bass and the type of microphone, depending on whether the "tone" is 0 or background, the sound is very different.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 months. I tried a 10aine disto / OD (Boss ODB-3, MXR blowtorch, EHX Germanium BM 4, Behringer VT999 ...)

What I like is the sound and the fact that he has a particular grain.
What I like least is the knob "tone" that does not seem to do much about the sound.

The price / quality ratio is good, but this product does not fit everyone, and that price is better to match the expectations.

I will ever choose immediately.
