I tried this pedal with my bass (traben phoenix with micro electronic bartolini + active), with all possible configurations of the pedal.
The wind is too strong, just release the pedal. I pass a breath no, or very little audible when puts his ear to the tweeter baffle, a big breath very very sweet snack!
Whether in effects loop or before the pre-amp, nothing did.
OVERALL OPINION
This pedal has allowed me to see, however, one thing my pedal distortion ashdown is not that bad in the end!
So pedal test on the config before you buy, or have a noise gate to correct side effects.
