Radial premiered at NAMM 2014 the SB5W "WallDI," a wall-mounted, stereo direct box.
The made-in-Canada SB5W is Radial’s new spin on a DI Box: a passive design, stereo direct box that fits inside a standard light switch electrical enclosure and employs a Decora wall plate cover. And it accepts laptops and iPhones via RCA or 3.5mm mini TRS inputs.
It features a simple level control for the output, a set & forget switch to sum the stereo audio file to mono, a ground lift, and a fully enclosed metal casing design to reduce magnetic interference. Connections are done with simple screw-down terminals and tie wraps for strain relief.
Estimated shipping date is March 2014 with an estimated retail price of $140 USD.
