I use it for 3 years, I had the Sony-700DJ MDRV 5 years ago, and the HD 200 (my first headphone mix)

+ The sound is very nice to use for DJing and listening to HIFI and incidentally listen to my music productions to the headphone, it gives me another idea in addition to the car radio and speaker monitoring.

- Tired head after a while, it tightens on the cartilage of the ear.
- The finish is not the height, 200 euros a headphone, he finally crack on left earpiece in plastic (under L).

With the experience I would not recommend this headset, it is an expensive toy Playskool.

I had another low-end headphones that I can not remember the brand

+ Low solids, the overall sound quality
- It fragility, haunting stuff for the Pioneer

Sold far too expensive compared to that quality

- Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Probably not, I turned instead to the Allen & Heath

Captured during the first weeks (super good sound, bass), I quickly became disillusioned when I found myself with a part of every headphone in hand .. The biggest concern with this headset is the extreme fragility of the junction located just below the letters L & R. Indeed, this plastic part is very thin and very fast, a crack appeared (due to the fact that we should remove the headphone to put it on the ears). After a while the crack is enlarged and that party has simply broken. And both sides and more. I lost count of the number of times I had the pick. Now it seems to hold (thank you super strong glues of the job), but it's still a big design flaw almost unforgivable for a prestige brand, and especially for the price.

- Yes, AKG and Sony MDR-V500DJ.

- (Le +) The quality of the sound emitted!
For me, this is the best!
good bass, well insulated, super sound!
Rather Class!

- (The -) The material used (plastic, PVC, therefore) is not resistant at all, especially at the hinges,
within 3 months of use, I had it repaired ...
& At this price point, we would have preferred something sturdy!

Wholesale:

-If you need a headset with a sound and perfect acoustics, you fell on the good!

-If you are rather abrupt and careless, I DO NOT!

This will do 2 years.

What is the specific feature you like best, the least?
+: The bass is just standard and notorit the brand takes a little more evening that a headphone without a name.

-: As with many of these headphones' s owner, he also pt at fixing the strength to put headphones on the head. This is very bad, especially for a product from Pioneer!

Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
No comparable models, that lower range.

How do you report qualitprix?
A bit expensive even when (I've bought about 180 in store).

Not sure, if I find a headphone more robust. The HDJ-2000 look a little more robust that the level but I have not tried yet and the price is a bit chilling. Otherwise I would have no remorse to another brand.

I just purchased a set of pioneer hdj 1000's of eBay and when they arrived they were fakes. They are American audio hp-700 with the pioneer logo on them. A very similar look but a few minor differences. The sound quality isn't bad but the lows are horrible. They make a weird noise. They came from China and they were only $50. You can tell a fake from a real by the swivel joints, the fakes are black the reals are silver. Also there is no stereo/mono switch on the fakes. If the headphones are extremely cheap, come from china, and have a stock photo ask for a real photo of them or there probably fakes. I hope you found this review helpful.
