Walrus Audio announces the availability of its new Descent reverb stompbox, designed to create ambiences and textures.

Descent offers three reverb modes: Hall, Reverse and Shimmer, each with a +1 and –1 octave option to add to the reverberated signal.

The Hall mode is a classic reverb that can be adjusted from small room to long echo. The Reverse mode gently flips the signal and can be manipulated via the pre-delay time controls. Last, Shimmer is specially designed for that octave pitch option in order to create “symphonic” sounds, according to Walrus Audio.

The Descent pedal features 8 controls: Dry Mix, Reverb Time, Diminish, Tweak, Wet Mix, Dry Signal, and Octave –1 and +1 (so both octaves can be added separately).

Plus, Descent can receive an auxiliary momentary switch and an expression pedal and you can store presets. Note that the output is stereo. The pedal requires a 9V DC power supply.

Price: $299
