USE

From an Ibanez RG, I must admit that the transition between the two was hard enough. Accustomed to slim handle and access to a total acute, I had a bit like fighting with this Les Paul at first.
Now I realize that this Les Paul is a real treat to play, especially when compared with other models. The asymmetrical neck is a real plus because it is neither too thin nor too thick and perfectly follows the contours of the hand.

The access to acute is worthy of that of a Les Paul ... it's always the same, it is not the top but we made it.

Thanks to its resonance chambers, the corp is lightened and we will not complain, especially when the cheek several times in a row.

Mechanical blockage in chrome are also a pledge of comfort and give a more modern look.

A thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer covers all of the guitar. This traditional varnish is very brilliant but mark easily. Indeed, it is a fragile veneer but leaves the wood to breathe it gets better with time. This statement has always been debate ...


SOUNDS

I play mostly blues, rock / hard and a little jazz. Plugged into a Marshall JVM 410, the sound that comes out is just magical. A sound this big, powerful, massive and raucous but always with a certain roundness and warmth characteristic, even in the treble.

Rooms resonances are aptly named. The sustain is impressive, especially in the clear. One detail struck me: the vacuum resonance of the instrument. Comparing with Tradional, the difference is obvious, the sound of that vacuum seems almost choked.

The pickups are powerful but the sound still keeps a kind of "halo" serious is a treat.
In his clear, it is in all round very serious and quite powerful bridge pickup microphone. Sometimes it takes a little lower the volume knob because it can be a bit overwhelming (for my taste). In crunch is dynamic at will and distortion, it's very bad. There is no doubt, it's a Les Paul!

Fan sound of Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa and Slash? We are in the middle of it!

NOTICE GLOBAL

When opening a Gibson case for the first time, the reaction to the store or at home, is always the same. There are white, one is amazed and say "wow". Next, the branch, and we smile. Only this guitar that sounds as well, it's crazy.

Gibson offers here an efficient and comfortable model mixing vintage and modern. It is not given, it is clear, but worth its price.

It has been 3 years since I have and I realize, playing over songs in which old Les Paul was used, the personality of the guitar is still there and that even we recognize that his thousand.

I do not understand the revolt engendered this guitar.
Soon after having bought it, I was beginning to regret this purchase almost to the views of critics like "This is not a real Les Paul", "it does not sound", "this is the end of the myth" and so on ... Of course, a full-corp may not sound like a partially cut corp, but said it should sound worse? This is slightly different, rounder, but still very typical. There's really nothing to cry foul.

When I bought it I was able to test a Classic Antique and Traditional. The Standard has been my real favorite, both audible and visual.

As you can see, I do not regret this purchase!

UTILIZATION

Now, I realize that this Les Paul is a real treat to play, especially compared with other models. The handle is a real plus asymmetric because it is neither too thin nor too thick and perfectly fits the hand shapes.

The access to the highs that is worthy of a Les Paul ... it is always the same, it is not the top but we made it.

Of its resonance chambers, the corp has been lightened and we will not complain, especially when the cheek several hours straight.

The mechanical blocking chrome are also a guarantee of comfort and give a visual-art.

A thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer finish covers the entire guitar. This traditional varnish is very bright but marks easily. Indeed, it is a brittle varnish but breathable timber so that it gets better with time. This claim has always been debate ...

In his clear, it is generally very round and very powerful micro serious in bridge pickup. Sometimes it takes a little lower volume knob because it can be a bit overwhelming (for my taste). In crunch, it's dynamic desire and distortion, it is very bad. There is no doubt this is a Les Paul!

The Les Paul guitar is a fantastic instrument for pretty much any style of music out there. Unlike the Fender Stratocaster or telecaster guitars this guitar can go from country all the way to new metal type tones. The new metal and just pretty much any style of metal that Fender Stratocaster for telecaster's will be old to pull off quite as easily as the Les Paul guitar.

This guitar has two humbucker pick ups installed. With two volume control knobs and two tone control knobs as well as a pick up selector between each humbug to pick up. It's not a over-the-top feature wise guitar but it's a very basic instrument.

SOUNDS


These guitars that well in pretty much any style of music you use but if you use a nice high gain amplifier such as a Bogner, Mesa boogie, or Marshall amplifier that you're getting get a nice big juicy tone is very warm and musical. This guitar does the palm you could chuck a chuck a type tones very well. Primarily because I has a humbucker pick ups but also the thick mahogany and wood that is very dense in the body in the neck. They usually have thicker next to which adds in another dimension of tone and residence. If you use with a clean amplifier's got to get a good tone but not quite as good as you would with a nice overdriven amplifier.

OVERALL OPINION

These guitars you can find pretty easily as well but they do come in different types of packages as far as features of different woods and different tops. But you can find them pretty easily in any guitar retailer and online retailer. I highly recommend his guitars because they're very fun to play and they're great for recording and gigging musicians. Overall they're a great instrument and extremely versatile for pretty much any solid music.

When they first came out back in the 50s guitar players at that time refused to play them because they were so use to fender style guitars. This was made of mahogany wood which is good to give it a warmer and fatter tone which most of the music then was based around the clean side of music, and when I meet clean, I mean clean amplifiers. This guitar doesn't really shine when it's in a clean amplifier setting. It really shines when it's coupled with a high gain amplifier such as Marshall amplifier, Mesa boogie, or any other high gain amplifier.

SOUNDS


This is a kind guitar that you can use primarily any pop, rock, or metal setting. If you play this guitar with a clean and you're not really going to find that it's not that usable and not brilliant and bright in tone. Since it has a mahogany body and neck with the rosewood fretboard which this is generally a thicker and fatter tone which is not that conducive to clean playing. But it does excel when you have a lot of to distortion or distortion from your pedals. Not that these guitars can't play a clean amplifier but they just don't have that tone because of the warm body of the mahogany wood. The Fender guitars are best in a clean setting and medium gain settings because of the single coils and generally they use in alder wood, ash wood, and a maple wood. So therefore the clean are going to be very responsive and very articulate.

OVERALL OPINION


I recommend anyone to get a Gibson Les Paul guitar because are very versatile and they sound amazing. They have a good chunky thick neck which gives a great tone and overall is a very fun and exciting guitar play. Especially if you're in hard rock, pop, or metal band. These are fun guitars and you can find the menu used section pretty easily. I would recommend playing one first because sometimes it gets Les Paul's can vary from guitar to guitar. That is the downside of guitars is that sometimes one of them is going to feel a lot better than the other. They seem to be inconsistent in recent years so my advice is to play it before you buy it.

The Les Paul guitar is simply the best hard rock guitar that you can't buy. This one features a finger in maple top on top of the mahogany wood body neck. The fretboard is a nice solid rosewood fretboard the features block pearl inlays for the frets. You get to volume control knobs into town control moms and a pickup selector. You get two humbuckers which are burstbuckers that sounds very classic and it's Les Paul guitar. The tone of this guitar is a very smoky it's sick fat sounding guitar. It has that classic Les Paul tone that is heavy and powerful. The only thing I don't like about this guitar is that it's a chambered body. That means the tone is it going to be as robust in sick is a non-chambered gets Les Paul guitar.

SOUNDS

This guitar sits very well in the mix with the maple top of the mahogany wood. This too is really balance this guitar out very well and gives it a good silky smooth as robust talk. This guitar sounds exceptional with any high gain amplifier setting. Put this in front of a Mesa boogie or Marshall amplifier you can get some great solid hard rock tones. The look of this guitar also matches the tone of the the guitar very well. The honey burst just puts this guitar a league of its own. It has a vintage look pay modern design. It has to PLEK machine setup which balances out the frets to their machine suspect precise measurements.

OVERALL OPINION

At new you can find these guitars for right around $2700 which is sort of expenses for guitar for most people but then again this is a professional guitar. This guitar is for professional to grab or somebody knows exactly what they're looking for. I recommend this guitar to anyone you want to step into a modern Gibson Les Paul.
