    Hello,

New at MATIRE I presents to you my dream:
    - Accordionist singer, I would sound to me to increase my animation capabilities
1- At departure: A son + 2 mic connection box enough pace (no tie and headphone son would be a plus, but it will depend of the budget)
2 - to an audience of about 100 people (possibly in battery life, this budget will depend to y)
3- easy to transport max 25k
4- evolutionary connection to CD, magneto, headband and mix for small raliser complment late disco entertainment, ...

    The questions I ask myself:
Q1- What are the correct brands of the lowest quality at the top ??
    Q2-What powers take (40W, 150W, 230W, ...) to have a little only feature?

Q3- What do these strange nots in terms of information presentation products (digital Intgr 6 Effect Programs, Reverb, Delay or 4 Channel Mixer integrates or digital reverb and EQ 5 -bandes with FLS and many other ?????
Q4 - Quest what makes the difference between a model Peayvy 700 BST a model 500E Samson a model 1000E, a model phonic roadger 600E (how to choose without being able to touch them or try them, I'm in Grenoble region)

I'm interested in any advice, opinion, experience in the MATIRE and am ready to change the subject if it seems to miss questions to help me

a budget around 1000 Euros with a mixer intgrerpondrai my dream, but I would invest the hard way: evolutionary, strong and correct sound quality !! If it's not asking too much

    Cordially thank you in advance

After an exhausting investigation about this gear and its pros and cons, I finally got it yesterday.
I got it in a downtown store in Mexico City, for $5400 pesos (about $570 US Dollars).
As a Live performer (piano and vocals) in a Lobby Bar, I was in the need of a consistent, practical, versatile and affordable PA equipment, and I read almost everything there is about portable PA's.
I was adviced to give the Escort2000 a try. So I did, during a Birthday party, where I played the piano and sang for about a hundred people, outdoors.
I wondered at first if the gear would be enough powerful to fill the place, it was a quite big garden. It did! Not only that, but my voice sounded clear, at a…

I wondered at first if the gear would be enough powerful to fill the place, it was a quite big garden. It did! Not only that, but my voice sounded clear, at a good volume, and the portable piano did too.
Everybody at the party was surprised for the perfect sound, and the "so small equipment".
Days after, I had the chance to try it at the Maria Isabel Sheraton Hotel and Towers Mexico City, where I work, at the Lobby Bar. I would say it's one of those really big old fashioned style Lobby Bars, and it sounded perfectly.

I just love the clearness of the sound coming out of the speakers. It only takes my roadie 5 minutes to set it up and 5 to put it away. It is a very complete gear and easy to handle, easy to assemble and easy to carry. It fits exactly to the trunk of my car and I just think I made the deal of my life.

There's nothing I dislike about the unit.

The gear includes two resistant speakers, the stands are light but firm at the same time, the design of the unit is great!

I highly recommend this portable gear for all Live performers that play in Clubs, Churches, Schools, Restaurants, Bars and Hotels. And for Events, it is worth the investment. The best gear for solo performers, guitarists, keyboardists and of course, singers.

I purchased this unit from Lanham Music in St. Joseph, MO to replace a Fender Passport 250 system. The purchase price was $529.00

    PROS:
    150 watts stereo power
    5 channels: 4 w/ XLR lo-z jacks and
    1/4" hi-z phone jacks. Channels 1 - 3
are mono. Channel 4 actually has two
phone jacks for a stereo signal.
Channel 5 has two RCA jacks for stereo
    signal and a stereo/mono switch.
All channels have 60mm faders for gain, a
    reverb knob and 2-band EQ.
The master controls are two 60mm faders
for right and left volume, and a 5-band
    graphic EQ.
The unit includes 1 Peavey PVi microphone
    and cable.
    Speaker stands are included.

    and cable.
    Speaker stands are included.
The speakers are two cabinets which con-
    tain a 10" woofer and a 2"x3" horn
    tweeter.
Two storage compartments are provided for
    microphones and cables.
A larger compartment is provided for
storage of the speaker stands and addi-
    tional cables.
The speakers latch onto the top of the
mixer so that the backs/sides of the
speakers provide a cover and the whole
unit is its own transport case.
The unit also has on one side luggage
type casters for ease in transporting
    it.
This PA contains Peavey's proprietary FLS
    [feedback Location System] circuitry in
the master EQ section. This isolates
    potentially problematic frequencies
where feedback could occur so the per-
son operating the PA system can make
    the necessary EQ adjustments without
having to go through the task of iso-
    lating the troublesome frequency man-
    ually.

    CONS:
This thing weighs over 55 pounds assem-
bled. However, the weight is evenly
    distributed.
    No panning controls on individual
    channels.

The casing is made of heavy duty molded thermoplastic of the type used in SKB ATA approved instrument cases.
Over the years I've come to expect high quality products from Peavey and this does not disappoint.

I have owned 4 different PA systems over the past 25 years. My first one was a Peavey. More recently, I had owned a Fender Passport and was disappointed by its lack of EQ controls. When I read about this new unit from Peavey I knew I would have to try one out. I ended up buying it. While it lacks panning controls, this is not critical since the unit is designed for smaller, club-type venues. However, if one uses stereo effects on an acoustic-electric guitar, running the signal through the right and left inputs on channel 5 provides the necessary separation to use the effects at their best.

This is definitely a better buy than the comparably powered, yet featureless Fender Passport 150.

This will probably be the last Peavey I ever buy and I mean that in a good sense because this is, for me, the Grail of PA systems for acoustic musicians who need a small self-contained unit. It sets up quickly and easily, yet packs up into a small amount of space and is protected from the elements when transporting from vehicle to venue and vice-versa.

I have over 10 years ... I love the fact that it is solid, not expensive for the quality it is, and has phantom power, which is handy when using a condenser microphone. the sound is correct and powerful enough for concerts in bars. sorry for the delay ;-)

For 2 years I use it, no pb. Great little bike, it all depends what you want to do with! It is suppo lug around a car, it sets up in 5 minutes.
With, I give voice lessons, I'm doing gigs in bars, only micro guitar.
The sound is what it is, I think the piezo ...
I will change soon for the largest ...

    hello
I've had 5 years is compact and efficient!
the sound is very good and the table is perfect (if not too many anyway ...
Made in USA quality mean nothing to the appointment
I do it again without hesitation that choice is an ideal design for little gigs without the fuss!
the reverb is good! brief but happiness when you find one!
I will like to try the model over the newer 3000 escort not necessarily better? to see if the production was made in the USA or China?
if it makes him feel free!
