These headphones are simply the best that was possible on my ears. I mix I made, and this headset provides the best monitoring possible, a system that total coverage of the ear noise that obscures all around (and to catch sounds outside, or to mix in a cab is the TOP). The sound is warm (although it must have a good source) and round bass are returned.

DJs wear it upside down myself included, our right ear may not have the Earphone orienting, in short, we can put it on our head as we p'tite DSIR.

IT was worth every penny!! A HDJ-1000 is 160 euros before you arrive at the store you think, its 160 euros is expensive but it is beautiful too ... I bought the HD 25-1 II-BE Thomann nine to 145 € TTC in August 2011. It's been a week since I use it.

Previously I had a Numark HF 125.

Most:
- The purity of sound, very well balanced over the entire frequency range.
- The ultra light weight, they do not feel it on the head.
- It maintains very good, we can dance to without moving.
- Its good insulation.
- The angled 3.5mm jack adapter with its 6.3mm.

The -:
- He looks fragile (but this may not be the case).
- The cable 1.5m is a little short.

The price / quality ratio is very good, sound quality is at the appointment.
I would do definitely the choice.

Yes, the Pioneer (good but heavy enough and does not compress the ear), Sennheiser HD80 (not the same range, lots worse, though to start a small price) WESC (deplorable, over their entire range, poor sound Quality headphones are just "beautiful" or "mode ").....

"What thing do you like most/least about it?
The sound quality and respect of the spectrum. It is true that this model "support" a little low, but without degrading other sounds. I think this is mainly due to the fact that the headset has a fairly consistent pressure on the ears. This has the effect of completely isolated from the outside, without system noise abatement outside, and that a truly exceptional. So no need to put the volume up when you mix to cover the noise returns. It can therefore act to protect our ears.
Obviously this pressure can be painful for some in the long run. It never bothered me not in mix as the headphone is removed and replaced regularly, for use in cons studio - monitoring, even if it is extremely good job, he bit tired in terms of comfort.

I remake that choice without any hesitation. This is the Rolls Royce of headphones, sober and discreet of very high quality. I'll never part with it!

Since almost a year old.

Both say Desuite this headphone is made to control the live recording. On a shoot for example it can hear the poles because it is extremely precise and especially closed!

It is not very pleasant to wear because it shakes head while the right side gets up to headphone "dj" and the summits branches deviates mieu to distribute the weight on the skull.

On the other side is not vrément headphone so relax no matter how uncomfortable ^ ^, it is precise to the point that I even used occasionally to control a mix of late that I I do blow the low volume.

Brief in any case he has filled his role as 100% quality control of direct take while staying in a very very decent price compared to performance out!

Features aren't exactly aplenty on earphones. Some say they could do with a longer or coiled cord, but they must keep their record boxes a bit further away from their decks than I do! Ok, so the cord is a bit on the short side, but at least it's less of a chance to trip up on it! Everything is replaceable on them, so thats a bonus. They're also one of the few 70ohm cans in popular use, so for me anyway, they match perfectly to the headphone jack on my mixer. Couldn't really ask for anything else from a set of closed cup cans.

REALLY loud and still bang out bass without problems. These things are perfect for DJing. Sound quality is well rounded, although I find them ever so slightly lacking the clarity of audiophile quality cans. What they can do with levels though more than makes up for that. I really don't think I'd consider anything else to play out with, the only others on the market that can match this quality of sound at those levels are a bit big and cumbersome, and not terribly comfortable after a while wearing them. You could say these things do exactly what they say on the tin!

Just plug and play - not much more to say really! Haven't had to replace anything on them as yet, but given their simple design, I doubt it'd too much of a ball-ache to sort. The short cable might come under critism from people used to longer one's, but like I said, the flip side could also be said of somebody used to shorter cables having to then start using cans with a skipping rope's worth of wire haning off.

Simple classy design, and they really do feel robust. No signs of wear on them yet (half a year) and the replacability of parts means those things that do wear out wont wear out the entire set. Got to be the way all headphones should be made

Well, they're made in Ireland (just like me!) so thats 10 out of 10 right there! I'm so glad Sennheiser have made what I think is the perfect headphone. Light, durable, replaceable parts to keep the cost down in the long run, comfortable to wear for long periods, top notch sound quality and deafining, crisp levels. What more could a DJ ask for?
