DISADVANTAGES:
- Some of the tubes are not manufactured anymore but are still available on the web for affordable prices.
ADVANTAGES:
- The confidence of using only vintage tubes with a killer sound compared to modern tubes (the old knowhow is probably getting lost!!!)
ADVANTAGE

UTILIZATION

No user's manual needed: just plug in and enjoy!

SOUNDS

I tested it with a '73 Telecaster and a Fender Rhodes with an '65 Echolette cabinet (two 12" alnico speakers) and with a Hohner BOX cabinet (4 x 10"), the sound is magical.
The low-end is unique, the sound is very clear and the frequency reproduction is extremely accurate. Stunning!
No Fender Blues de Luxe (yuk!), Bassman or even Twin Reverb will give you these sound results especially in the low-frequency range.
I mention Fender because their amps produce a very similar sound, as well as old Selmer amps (wonderful). It can't be compared to Marshall, Peavey or other Laney and Engl.
Pop musicians, jazzmen and 70's lovers, this amp could be yours!

OVERALL OPINION

I played this amp a lot during recording sessions with demanding musicians and they all went back home with a smile in their face.
I own lots of other amps as studio back line. They were all produced before 1972: Hohner (60MH, 75MH), Klemt Echolette (virtually the whole range), Fender (Bassman, Twin), Selmer, Davoli, etc. I love Hohner amps when it comes to psychedelic keyboard or guitar recordings.

UTILIZATION

No need to get out of hand: you plug and the miracle happened!

SOUNDS

Essay with tlcaster of 73 and a Fender Rhodes on a baffle Echolette 1965, team of 2 x 12 "Alnico speaker but also a hohner BOX team of 4 x 10", the sound is magical.
The outline is unparalleled in the bass, sound clarity is amazing and the precision of the return of frquences leave you speechless.
No Fender Blues Deluxe (yuck) Bassman or even twin reverb will give the feedback, particulirement in the grave.
I quote Fender because it still the world closest to that same old Selmer amp (beautiful). It is not about to compare Marshall, Peavey and Laney or other Engl.
Popeux any hair, love of jazz and seventies, this amp could be the VTRE!

OVERALL OPINION

I really used this amp for its equity in the studio with musicians demanding, they are all left with a smile from ear to ear.
I possde many other amps that make up my studio backline, all dating from before 1972, Hohner (60mH, 75MH) Klemt Echolette (Almost the entire range), Fender (Bassman, Twin), Selmer, Davoli etc. .. . hohner ds I love that it is taken to make keyboards or guitars made psychdliques connotations.
