Sharper than the JCM800 series. 100W, impossible to fully, but can adjust to 50W. UTILIZATION Equalization is very limited, but the sound is there. SOUNDS I have the combo version with 1 HP, combined with LAG The Beast Supreme Custom Shop 97 too, ba it smashes. OVERALL OPINION Bought in late 1997 after a summer in the fields of cocos in Brittany, this amp is always with me, and I do not divide them. A small problem during the warranty after service return that say ... Almost 20 years ago, and just a change of lamps. Indestructible.

Channel A: clean -> crunch Channel B: crunch -> overdrive Loop insertion effect balance with -10 / +4 dB UTILIZATION 2 amps easy to use switchable channels SOUNDS Suitable for Blues, Rock and even Metal. OVERALL OPINION Used since 1998 What I like: Channel A cranked overdrive with a good front. I also like: changes made to the channel B (diode bridge split) which gives a closer rendering JCM 800 punch.

The settings on this head are not at the forefront .... not much opportunity since SETTINGS pots do not respond on a large beach .... but we can solve this small lacunne by purchasing a pedal of equalization (boss ge-7 for me) and you realize that some things holds big!! UTILIZATION For my part, the configuration is quite complicated .... I have two speakers who will lead in 1960 with A + B. ... connectivity is quite complicated, I had to look on this site for the information necessary .... but with good advice I got I am absolutely very happy!! I did not get a manual with but at the price I paid I even had the 1960 A cabinet with!! sound of the amp is very good if you look for rock sounds .... but we must add effects to get the big sound ... its very hot and the distortion is effective wish a very good clean and also easy to find! SOUNDS I like metalheads and rockeux .... this is the amp of choice for my type of player .... I use a digital delay, a chorus and a set of preamp eq ... j ' addition follows a ibanez tube screamer overdrive for Narrow my sound and have the teeth to the metal ... the sound is really good ... in 25 years it is my hobby and best sound is the sound I was looking for! ! OVERALL OPINION it's been 5 months that I use and I'm very satisfied ... nothing to do with the small combo amp and other fine good cheap!! that I like the most is that it is big, yes, but the sound is diffuse Surprisingly ... with 8x12 inches behind the ca pouuse and spreads halucinante way!!, as I bought it used, I can not I really pronounced on the value for money but in my opinion worth it ca pay dearly for this type of amp .... moin has to have a changing temperament, he will follow me all my life I think so! !

UTILIZATION There is no simpler, no need to adjust the hours it sounds! SOUNDS I played noisy, punk, rock, indus, with a rise of 70 SG DiMarzio, a Mustang Us, a Heritage ... and never disappointed! In Briefly, crystalline or clean sounds I do not know, although with the Mustang and the channel A of the amp the sound is more than respectable wholesale with single coils it goes well, we can play funk fusion Red Hot ... but we chose not to its characteristic crystalline Marshall ... OVERALL OPINION I use that since there is, I'm also JCM800 master volume and a few others but this one I do not loose! The scratch who tested it all appreciated . But then I tested the version with the 5881 and there I found no sound, nothing to see, I also tried the 2000 I can not find it better with buffs that are useless if not have a sound yucky! This is an amp that is not expensive OCCAZ and with a good selection of lamps it does! Otherwise the little negative point is that the knobs spit, as usual! After years of bomb I'll have to contact me decide to change them!

UTILIZATION I am using the crunch that obtained by pushing the gain (7-8) 1 channel. Channel B is truly Hi-Gain, it throws up the distortion. Treble 7, 7 Middle, Bass 5, 8 presence. It works! SOUNDS For rock 'n roll, the setting is impeccable expressed above. I play it on repeat with my LP Studio (micro BB2). A good crunch though this rather modern (fine texture). Beautiful shine and beautiful presence, I genuinely like. I obtained by pushing the channel A (which must be the clean channel ??!!) Not tried the clean or hi-gain (not use it). And while many decry OVERALL OPINION this amp, I find it wrong. If I had one complaint to make, it would be the grain a bit too tight. But otherwise bore the crunch mix well, it's more enjoyable. With a boost upstream, we have a good lead sound. He collects well as the fuzz, it looks like he will die or that HP will be torn apart. I play it in repeats 1 time per week is the amp of the studio.

Impedance selector to play 50 or 100W. Personally I prefer to leave it on 50W. Purchased 400 secondhand € UTILIZATION 2 channels: clean and lead A B each with 1 volume (Master), 1 win and 1 reverb EQ common to two channels: a problem if we want a channel switcher to another, the sound is too much dispute. SOUNDS It is perfect for my style hard rock (ACDC, Airborne, Led Zep, ZZ Top etc..). I use a Gibson SG or a Start 61 U.S. and two with the sound I like. All in a baffle 1936 in Marshall Celestion Vintage 30 (I did not like with the G12T-75). 29/11/2010 (after 1 year): ca does very well with G12T-75, especially 4x12 is less dry, more open. I use only the channel B Lead. Like not at all push the channel A, it sounds too loud and clapping for my taste, so to get a crunch on channel B I drop my guitar volume knob (with the SG that sounds wonderfully well for the TDCA). What I love about this amp is that the sound is well defined, and cuts into the mix. What is missing is a little "soft." 29/11/2010: it's actually the v30 gives this side snapping, dry ... it is sweeter with G12T-75. OVERALL OPINION After 10 months I use repeating and concert, I do not regret that choice at all. Before I had a JCM 2000 TSL 60 (with 2 v30) is the sound was good, warm and mellow, but too often "fuzzy". The 2000 is missing a definition for playing power chords in the TDCA. The pros: well-defined cuts in the mix, good value for money the -: EQ unmanageable if we use the 2 channels (it's not my case)

There are a lot of transistors alongside two 12AX7 in the preamp stage. It is indeed they who bring the grain saturation particular JCM900. It is also thanks to them we can obtain large saturation even at low volumes unlike JCM800 example. The combination of transistors and lights returned to some sort to have a distortion pedal included with the amp head. For the power (which is all-tube): A 12AX7 phase inverter followed by a push-pull four EL34 (the 5881 U.S. model). UTILIZATION The tone stack is not what I've seen better. Do not hesitate to set equalizer to max or zero. I see so many guitarists who do not dare turn the knobs and put everything at noon. SOUNDS The clean sound is not up to the race condition JCM900 but was not designed for that. This is an amp for lovers of Rock and Hard Rock distortion. OVERALL OPINION I have since 1999. Buy € 530 at the time with the baffle 1960A. By dint of perseverance and testing of any kind I finished not find a config that pleases me. Fender Jaguar Boss SD1 + modified + clear + channel JCM900 Cabinet Mesa Boogie 1x12 Thiele. I never use the boost channel because I find it lacks dynamics and spring mixes poorly. In short, the boost channel did a lot of noise but nothing is heard. Added 10/04/2010: I change all the preamp section for it to be 100% lamp except the reverb which remains transistor. It remains only a single channel like a JCM800 but with two gain settings and two input (high & low). Here was a lot of work but I am happy with the result for only 20 € component by taking the best quality. As against this no longer really a JCM900. I made a post about the transformation for those interested: https://www.projetg5.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=54549 # 54549

SOUNDS For it is the cons that have become interesting, using the JMP avecun 1 and 1960A with a more or less different guitars: Jackson RR with emg 81, emg HZ LTD7 strings, Gibson Les Paul Standard and a squier strato di Marzio with a microphone, the sound is really metal and hardcore!! Ke the fact the sound is not typical in trs clean, my friend, a JMP that does the job and it really trs trs well lol It sounds really metal, TRS big sound and the JCM 900 trs filled out its role of power amp!! He is strong, too even, but its role APRS all. Try for others like peawy, the mesa and other JCM 900 is really the height, if you like big fat are well and that we love against less acute Submitted too, the JCM 900 and JMP 1 are unstoppable. It passes easily obituary Hatebreed and really does not sound like fear or deftones slipknot ... OVERALL OPINION In 10 years of loyal service I do not resell any time soon! It is beautiful, sounds like hell, and impresses with its simplicity and power
I also possde peawy, trs good too, but different, the JCM 900 is built for him laseine !!!!!!!!
I got it used, I board is jamaist deu If you like Marshall, metal, EMG lol the JCM 900 amp is a really great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not hesitate if you see him, it will be a great companion!

SONORITS I play hard rock and metal (70's / 80's / modern thrash genre) and unlike what some say, YES c'st possible to have a big fucking her saturates !!! Just: 1: whether the lamps are not dead or otherwise not bother to post a comment !!! 2: have good hp (personally a fact largely the case in 1936) 3: having a good scratch (for me vigier exca Di Marzio tone zone, bam pro and also with super distortion affects mapleneck / sg std / les paul std Burstbucker alnico / jackson Seymour Duncan tb4 rosewood / Charvel San Dimas ditto plus 59 handle Maple and touches everything in standard tuning either re re diese diese either with low E string pulling drope 10/46) 4: Learn to play !!! and have something to compare! (I have not bought amp poorly lamps) For me JCM900 synonymous with precision and feeling, nothing to do with the JCM2000 and jvm, this amp is the last true that sounds like marshall marshall! Remember that it has created and to counter the Soldano and other mesa fashion in the 90's and the permetre schreders and metaleux to stay at marshall. Here are the sounds / clean very good for a marshall (useful for connecting a distortion) clean with good gain for blues, AC / DC, Led Zeppelin od very classic rock od with max gain good for hard rock od tube screamer with a view equalizer and it's perfect for thrash metal (precision with harmonic = hell solo) with serious tuning and good mics = palm mute clear and punchy; cavalcades thrash (Metallica, Megadeth ...) The reverb is pretty cool The equalization may seem innefficace but I find that c an advantage is not going 2:00 settle its mids for example; here it sounds now. el 34 or 6L6? I will say that the 6L6 are more roots than the EL34 without losing the precision with more harmonics (very hendrix crunch) El 34 drive bottom episodes with tube screamer are more modern with a thicker grain (personal opinion) stridant least as in the treble. Hi Mode or low? As low sound is softer fatter less precise because less powerful (50W) Hi are over sin and shine but it less manageable small volume, must push for a ring! NOTICE GLOBAL I recommend this amp to anyone who row to find a good sound with the recent stuff often too expensive, too cold; complicated and not reliable enough; if not love good grain marshall c c'st not for you !!!

Rear: An effects loop with rglage Two outputs for recording: A direct (sound pramp not filter) A filter for recording purpose. Impdance switch (8 or 16 ohms) A power switch Low or high) HP output. Two fuses with LED lights indicating when the lamp is dead. Gnral a fuse. ACCS easy all the fuses) For me it's team in Fully Groove tubes. (EL34 amp in) 10 compltes connections for the switch to impdance, and output power. UTILIZATION Using ultra simple, easy to handle. SOUNDS A Clear Channel / Overdrive: -> To the sound of this amp (and even any) I recommend a 10-band equalizer. I found a home RgE10 boss is 40 euros. It's fantastic! The sound is incredible proportions! The original sound seems quite flat, it really has to try and serve both the blues rocker that Aguri of all kinds! For cheap you rediscover your sound Fully and I do not even speak the clear! <- CHANNEL 1: Clear I t trs also surprised by its clear, sweet music. Without being among the most impressive, the sound is simple but the fact remains that they are rich and can play sweet things without damaging the eardrums. Or a good chorus and flanger ca does it well! Overdrive: Impressive accuracy! Carr was dead! Arle pile on the ropes for the Ac / Dc well surly! The SETTING THE prsence can bring out the grain finnesse. A good grain ar a desired thickness ... gnial! Heat and density are waiting for you! I rather like to push the volume and the gain of Channel 1's for a good lamp. Channel B: OD / Disto CHANNEL 2: Disto: A gain level, I want to say it, enough to make the maiden metallica and other. If you possdez an overdrive pedals to boost Do not hesitate, worth a peek hours .. ear! Trs compress the grain is compared to the other two. We do here has aa much more muscular sound than the rest. But the major problem (at last I found is that it really lacks mediums ... The sound is heavy cras and trs. So I do not know if the era was c'tait the goal but lacks a bit of momentum. has reminded me of an equalizer "V". You know the young mtalleux 18, who cut the growing medium and low?! lol rsultat emerges at all in the mix and the sound gives no shade ... Overall the amp once equalize spring, there are fast muscle Marshall sound equalizer. ) For channel 2: Eq mandatory! The sound is good trs as a whole, the distortion is in mute trs own course and even more after stroke by pedals. The low and high modes can juggle between two colors, is low in acute soft, less dynamic overall and trs sounds good for blues. In high is richer and muscular perfect for live performances. OVERALL OPINION An amp that juggling a Hard rock blues. Good reliability of the head in it even is well mounted and trs aa look more than solid. The sound is missing characters and frankly it's not an amp that promises hours of fun! The power is ample, the grain is good it's good that Marshall can dgoter for cheap .. (400 euros for me). As said one of our friends here as I pass by almost as Marshall, he's a perfectly fine with me waiting to put a little more for a 800 or more an antiquated genre plexi et al. .. YUM!. It is not about an ultra high-end amp but for a while first lamp seems a good choice trs: You want to go to any lamp, you're tired of your transo but your budget is tight? DARK DARK DARK!
